Mission Statement: The PPAW Spay/Neuter Clinic is dedicated to reducing the numbers of unwanted dogs, cats, kittens and puppies in East Tennessee. Only through spaying and neutering all household pets can this be achieved. However, for many people, the cost of sterilizing pets is prohibitive. The mission of our organization (People Promoting Animal Welfare) is to make spays and neuters affordable to everyone. We provide low-cost sterilization services for rescue organizations and shelters to help save the lives of countless dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. We also support TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) of feral cats by providing low-cost and no-cost sterilizations. We believe TNR is the only humane method of population control of feral cats. |
